Meet the Pastor

Pastor Sam and Gemma

Sam Ball

Pastor

Welcome to PCF!

My name is Sam Ball, and I am the Pastor here. I am married to the wonderful Gemma, and we have a baby on the way, due in just a few weeks time! I love biscuits, playing music, video games and football and I feel privileged to have grown up in a fantastic Christian family. I am passionate about seeing people of all ages and backgrounds transformed and changed by the Holy Spirit. I want to see everyone make a difference for Christ in their unique context, performing miracles and telling their friends, family, colleagues, and anyone who will listen, about all God has done for them. I love the local church, and I am passionate about seeing the New Wine vision of local churches changing nations come to pass. I love God and want Him to be at work in the life of me and my family, and I want to see Him at work in you and your family too.

Sam is supported by a wonderful leadership team of Dave, David, Nonso, Maggie, Caroline and Robbie, with a fantastic group of volunteers helping in all aspects of church life.

Additionally, we have partnered with the Hope into Action charity to acquire a property, allowing us to support individuals experiencing homelessness and assisting them in rebuilding their lives.

Our primary aim is to engage with and positively impact our community with the Good News of who Jesus is. We strive to serve as a beacon of hope, security, healing and wholeness, ensuring that everyone encounters the life, changing love and power of God.

We have a really strong kids church programme that runs alongside our main Sunday morning service. Each week we have between 20-30 kids of all age groups coming together. The kids have so much fun, learning and journeying in their faith together. No 2 weeks are ever the same with great activities, games and crafts.

All our kids Church team are DBS checked and work in accordance with our safeguarding policies.
